CHANGING LONG HELD PATTERNS

Your body is a map of your life. From before you were conceived, cell patterns began to form. We are encoded with our ethnic backgrounds. The experiences of our ancestors, our country of origin and everything else that came before us. We come to our conception with all this in place and then we are impacted by our immediate ancestors, parents, grandparents and extended family members. As we await our time of birth we are absorbing blood, nutriments, bodily fluids and our parents' state of mind and body. As we are born with blue eyes and blond hair we are born with definite personalities. As our life continues we pick up all kinds of habits. We walk like Aunt Jane and hold our head like Uncle Harry. Our body holds on to fears, anxieties, abuse, anger and joy which form patterns that show up as blocks, barriers and limitations; as in a chronically stiff neck. As you lose spontaneity you lose your excitement and on and on and on. Your world shrinks, your vision narrows, your world closes.

Yoga and Shiatsu disrupt these long held patterns. Practicing a Yoga routine will bring you into perfect balance. Learning to breath fully and properly will lighten your body, create a relaxed state and bring you much more energy. Yoga postures and stretches were designed to stimulate and re-balance your entire body. As you practice, your Ci (life force) will be redirected and you will leave behind old habits. You will begin to change from the inside out. Through meditation we learn to sit still and quiet and respond to a higher calling. Yoga and meditation will change long held patterns at a cellular level.

Shiatsu takes all this a step further. Shiatsu works with the overall flow of energy in your body. Dormant energy is awakened and energetic blocks are released. Old patterns and habits fall away as a new you emerges.

Living your life in a holistic way helps you to rise above body tensions and come into life with your higher self. Yoga and Shiatsu cage long held patterns. This a life-time practice and as you continue with your practice you will always retain a sense of inner peace and a vibrant healthy body. Yoga and Shiatsu are especially helpful if you are going through therapy or changes in your life, or if you want to go through changes in your life. This combination of Yoga and Shiatsu will help you grow. You stay open in your body and mind.
