I have put together a section of my web page to give some great ideas for food choices and recipes. I have been eating in this whole natural way for over thirty years. Coming from an Italian background where food was very important, as more then just nourishment but included; the shopping, the freshness of ingredients, the preparing, the enjoyment and the joy of watching others eat your preparations.

I have also had to watch my weight my entire life and once I started to study yoga and the healing arts I discovered that the fuel we give our bodies is of the utmost important to our energy level and our feeling of balance. As you practice yoga on a daily level your body purifies and begins to reject foods that are not in line with really nourishing your body. Some of these recipes I bring form my heritage and have made changes a little here and there to make them more natural, some I have made up myself and some I have collected from different sources through my life. I hope you enjoy these and know that I have just begun this project ,so it will take a while to put on my collection. This will be an on-going project so keep checking it our now and then to see the new things that come up. Also I want you to know that all of these are simple in nature as I do not like to slave in the kitchen.

First I will tell you that the yogic way of eating and one that has proved the healthiest in all research lately is one that is 85% fresh fruits and vegetables, 10% whole grains and 5% percent meat and dairy. Yikes, I am sure you are saying, how . will I ever do this and do I want to. Nothing happens overnight. These suggestions are to bring new awareness, new tastes, new ideas. I hope you don’t start forcing yourself away from your favorites and making this an exercise in punishment. Food is to be enjoyed. Take this as a new adventure and enjoyment. If you have any questions or comments I would most enjoy hearing from you. My e-mail is lcucuril@optonline.net.
